Has anyone out there bought any brand name golf clubs from popular sites on line?
i am very curious as the prices seem very good by comparison to high st costs.my main concern of course is the brand name brand my be fake,as these clubs would come from the USA it would be impossible to challenge them ,i would like to hear from anyone who has bought any,thanks in anticipation phil

I have taken 5 or 6 lessons with him and he said my swing is " gorgous" and this will help me straighten out some of my shots. I hit pw 150 and 3 iron 230 so its not a problem of distance or hitting the ball .

How much should I offer for full set of Orion Trend golf clubs?
A person on craigslist is selling a full set of Orion Trend golf clubs with a bag at a garage sale this coming weekend. The clubs are 1 year old, and they said they paid 300 for them last year. I am just starting to get into golf and thought this would be a great set and wouldn't be too much to get into playing golf. So i just need to know how much to offer them, I was thinking 130? How do I know if I need new golf clubs?
Curious about my golf clubs. I bought irons about 12 years ago Cobra and I hit them well, no problems. But do they have a shelve life? Or is it by feel? They are not dinged up I played very sparingly for a few years .Also, my fairway woods are handme downs from Dad. Taylor Made burners with the bubble shafts. Do Titanium clubs have a different lifetime than irons? How do you know?

How do I identify my golf clubs?
I was given a set of irons 3,4,5,6,7,8,P . I don't play golf and would like to sell them but I don't know enough about them to set a price. Is there anyway to identify the golf clubs so I can find out how much they are worth? The grips say " Precept, Tour Velvet, Golf Pride, USA" , the shaft says " Dynalite Gold, True Temper" and the heads say " Precept Tour Premium C8, Forged, Tungsten" I stand corrected, it is " Precept, Tour Premium CB"

Golf clubs, first set, which set is better?
I'm looking to purchase a set of used golf clubs for my son. He will be 21 next week so I would like to get him a set of irons for around $100 just something he can use to learn the game. He has hit my clubs a couple times at the driving range, but he would like to hit the course and play a round.I found a used set of Ben Hogan BH 5 offset 3 pw for $110.00, and I found a set of Nike Forged Pro Combo OS 4 pw for $100.00. I will get him the woods and a putter later, but I would like to get him a set of irons now. Which set would be best for him to learn the game?I've also found a set of Adams Tight Lies GT irons for $95.00. So that would be another option.And another set of Callaway Big Bertha Iron set 1996 for $110.00.
